  • What a great place! We are beer lovers and were taken aback by the incredible beer selection, quality and taste of the home made beers Marc, the owner, is brewing!! He also makes his own kombucha as well as many other things which we all tried and absolutely loved! The food was great, the selection of food was out of this world and Marc was just a delight to be around. He is so passionate about his food and beers and anything he makes, it was an absolute honor and pleasure to talk to him and learn the ins and outs of his products! Highly highly recommend!!

  • Very nice variety of dishes! I would recommend the fries with gravy and cheese! They are really juice but I loved them! As well as the spinach Spaetzle (a little bit to expensive in my opinion but delicious!!) The melon Ale was good, doesn’t taste like melon (if someone might think that) The cheeseburger and fries are really good! Staff was very friendly and awesome! In the front part you are allowed to smoke, for my taste not a good mixture with dining but everyone needs to decide that for themselves. The design of the place is also cute I will come here again!

  • Great place for food and, especially, beer, brewed by the German owner, and a nice change from the humdrum Sagres & Super Bock lagers. The service was always welcoming and, dare I say, patient. Better phone ahead and reserve as it’s a small place and gets filled quickly due to reviews like this one but, hey, that’s the price you pay when you do it right!

  • Great food and lovely owners - btw they also speak German and English. Lovely selection of home made food next to traditional and International dishes. Great beer (German brands as well as i house craft beer available made by the owner)! Also crepes, pancakes and icecream as well as home made bread. Lovely!

  • Hands down the best food and service experience we have had dining out on Santa Maria! Owner is German and they have a great variety of different dishes on the menu, creative and tasty options for everyone, including vegetarians. He also brews his own beer and kombucha (!) which both were absolutely delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

  • A cozy snack bar in the middle of the village Vila do Porto. As a very cool ambiance with some very nice staff specially the owner! Don't forget, and you won't, to try their own craft beer! You won't be disappointed! Definitely a place to go when visiting Vila do Porto.
